Haslach lies at an altitude of 915 m, directly on Grüntensee, idyllic and far away from large tourist flow, and have a beautiful, rare flora and fauna.

Haslach is also an ideal starting point for short day trips to the castles of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Linderhof Castle, Wies Church, Monastery Ettal, Oberstdorf or to nearby Tyrol.
